The kinds of SEN that are provided for:

At Thornley Primary School, we have experience of supporting children and young people with a wide range of need including:

  • Speech and Language Difficulties
  • Social, Emotional, Mental Health Needs
  • Medical Needs
  • ASD
  • ADHD
  • Dysrpaxia
  • Specific Learning Needs such as Dyslexia

However, we always seek the advice of a range of professionals so the SENCO and school staff will enable each and every pupil to thrive no matter the support which is required.

The school provides data on the levels and types of need to the Local Authority. This is collected through the school census.
