This funding is being jointly provided by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport, and will see money going directly to primary school headteachers to spend on improving the quality of sport and PE for all their children. The sport funding can only be spent on sport and PE provision in schools.

In the academic year (2018/2019) we earned our School Games Gold Award in recognition of our commitment to school sport, physical education and competitions. Luke Wilson and Laura Jane Parker (Head boy and Head girl) were first to get their hands on our new trophy. Well done to all pupils and staff but a special thank you to Miss Hunter and Mrs Reynolds for all the work that they continue to do to promote sports and the importance of physical education in school.
